Digital Health Literacy Study Launches in Rural Haryana

CSHR Foundation has officially launched its latest research initiative — a comprehensive study exploring digital health literacy and smartphone usage patterns for healthcare access among rural communities in Haryana. The study aims to identify key barriers to digital health adoption and formulate evidence-based recommendations to support India’s growing digital health infrastructure.

Air Quality & Child Health Study Underway in Chandigarh Tricity

Our team is currently in the field, collecting data on the impact of ambient air pollution on respiratory health among children in the Chandigarh Tricity region. The study will establish baseline linkages between AQI fluctuations and pediatric hospital admissions, contributing to policy frameworks for clean air and child health protection.

Capacity Building Workshop — SPSS & STATA for Public Health

CSHR Foundation recently completed a highly successful two-day training workshop on SPSS and STATA for public health data analysis, attended by 40+ researchers and postgraduate students. The session covered everything from basic data cleaning to advanced regression modeling for health outcomes research.

New Publication: Anemia & Nutrition Findings Released

Our study on nutrition gaps and anemia prevalence among women in urban slums has been compiled into a comprehensive research report. Key finding: 58% of surveyed women were found to be anemic, with only 21% consuming iron-rich foods regularly. The report has been submitted to the National Health Mission for policy consideration.
